Debate Club



     Today was our last day of Debate Club, we will be reuniting in January 2017. It was really fun and at the end we had a hug fest, it was actually quite sad even though all the parents kept on saying "we have to meet" I'm kind of glad that I'm not traveling in Dec or else they would have all the fun without me. These past few meetups were at my place and it was really fun even today after the debating was over we started building Legos well actually only for like 5 min cuz then they all have to leave. My favorite/sad part is walking them to their cars :) :( . Anyway our first term is over and we have to study up now. I'm glad that we had this debate club and I think the other girls are also glad totally it is 10 girls ages 12-15 actually the age limit is 17 but we don't have any 16 or 17 year olds.

Avoiding negativity

   I would like to share a few tips on how to deal with negative people. Some people just dont now what to do with themselves so they find it fun to make trouble for other people, or some find it fun to make other people's feelings hurt. I have experience with both types, so let me educate you with some techniques that I use.   First of all, keep in mind that you are 100% better than them, this will make you confident when they say negative things about you. Now, when someone  says something mean about you  that is actually true, you just have to laugh. This will anger them, because they were trying to hurt you but it turned out that you thought it was funny. Another way to deal with them is to smile in their face and walk away.  If they say something that is false about you, you thank them and walk away. Why thank them? Roses holding on to their leaves :p

   A group of friends , holding onto each other for their dear life. The beautiful and delicate roses, once red and bright are now darkening in the cramped vase filled with water. The dark green leaves heading in different directions searching for a gap which they can breath freely from. Standing tall and proud to hold up the rose petals  burgundy mixed with a dark lime green, the combination of the two colors spread across the stems as they lean on one another in the vase. The deep red roses are coming to know, that they will soon be dead. And the grief is causing them to bow their heads.
