Culture bounds people together

With technology and globalization, culture and heritage is being ignored. People don't want to stick to traditional ways anymore, everyone wants to  be modern. But is being modern really worth it?

Culture and heritage is what brings the community together. For example  the Native Americans,  a tribe will get together to preform a spiritual dance. The people on the gala islands may all sit together and make baskets. Or going back before the Ottoman Empire in the Turkmen villages, the women would all gather and weave carpets. Sticking to tradition means sticking together.

Tradition is not always a complicated task, it can be easy as cooking in a kitchen with a group of friends. Italian old ladies, all squeeze into a kitchen to make fresh pasta. But we modernized people may think "It's a waste of time, I can by it frozen." Why buy it frozen when you can make it by hand with your mother or sister in the kitchen and have it taste fresher and much better.
I myself rolled up my sleeves got the flour out and made Gnocchi alongside my mother and had a complete pasta dish in less than an hour.

People with no culture try to adopt other people's culture and tradition. Because they feel like they have something missing from their life, they feel culture-less.
For example, the foundation of Jazz comes from a mixture of traditional African American field songs, and African American tunes. Jazz bands combined their heritage with modern European instruments and made something so majestic that it lasted up until today. Now back then when it was first flourishing, white musician bands saw that their music was bland because it had no backgroud heritage to it, so they began white Jazz bands.

Now you see, being modern isn't a bad thing. I have no negativity towards it. I just say that, as long you be modern with a touch of culture in  your life. It will be spiced up. And you will have something to claim as your culture.
